Kid's events and workshops
Tuesday 29th October
Kids Workshop - Make your own scary clay monster
Time: 10am-11:15am or 3pm-4:15pm
£22 per person
Duration: 1 hour - 1.15 hours (dependent on child)

Using and variety of tools and techniques, children can let their imaginations run wild as they design, sketch and hand build their very own scary monster from clay. ​
​
Workshop includes;
-
Demonstration, instruction and support by our host expert Debbie Duffy, followed by the chance to create your very own scary monster from clay..

A range of tools that children can use on the day to create their monsters.

Scary monsters will be glazed and fired and ready to collect within three weeks of the workshop.

These workshops are suitable for children 3 years and up, there is no upper age limit. If you have a small child we request that you stay for the duration, you can enjoy a cup of tea or a coffee in our lovely studio..

The session duration is dependent on the attention span and pace at which your child works. Younger children may finish the session in under an hour. ​​​​

Tuesday 6th August
Kids Workshop - pinch pots
11am
£22 per person
Duration: 1.5 hours
Parents can stay and enjoy a coffee or tea in our lovely studio.
Workshop includes;
-
Demonstration, instruction and support by our host expert Debbie Duffy, followed by the chance to create a pinch pot of your own which will be fired and returned to you glazed and ready to show off to all your friends.

For an additional £6 you can choose to pop into Crafty Pots studio and paint your pot at a later date, let us know if you would like to do this option before we glaze it, Once you have painted your pot, we will then glaze and re-fire it in the kiln to make it shiny and usable/dishwasher safe.

Complimentary squash and popcorn for each participant.

These workshops are suitable for children 5 years and up, there is no upper age limit. If you have a small child we request that you stay for the duration, you can enjoy a cup of tea or a coffee in our lovely studio. You can also book any siblings in to paint something at a regular Pottery Painting session, or why not paint something yourself!

Kids Workshop - Tile making and Impressing
11am
£22 per person
Duration: 1.5 hours
Parents can stay and enjoy a coffee or tea in our lovely studio.
Workshop includes;

Demonstration, instruction and support by our host expert Debbie Duffy.

Each student will make at least one impressed tile using a selection of stamps and/or natural forms to decorate their tiles.

Tiles will then be fired and ready to display as hanging plaques or use as coasters.
